Who is Morning Star in the Bible? Are there differences in the Bible versions?
Wednesday Mar 27, 2024
Wednesday Mar 27, 2024
In this video we discuss just a few of the big differences in the KJV, ESV and the NIV. We talk about how the NIV states that the devil is called the morning star in the Old Testament and then calls Jesus Morning star in Revelations. It is saying that Jesus and the Devil are the same, which we all know is not true! We have to utilize the true word of God which is the King James Bible! If we don't study then we won't see the truth. It is blasphemy to call any other version the word of God. There is only one, otherwise God is a contradiction and how can the perfect God be a contradiction?

A Comparative Study in Biblical Interpretation
Friday Mar 15, 2024
Friday Mar 15, 2024
In this enlightening episode, we delve into a stirring biblical narrative that often stirs varied interpretations - the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace. Taking the cue from an intriguing post on Facebook, our focus is on the mysterious fourth figure seen with the faithful trio in the furnace. The King James Version translates Nebuchadnezzar's utterance as "the form of the fourth is like the Son of God". This translation leads many to believe that it was Jesus who was in the furnace with them. However, alternative versions offer diverse interpretations - describing the fourth figure as "a son of the gods" or simply "like a god."We highlight the significant differences between versions and encourage listeners to ponder the critical importance of understanding the authenticity of the Bible's translation. An incorrect interpretation or translation can predispose us to deviate from the true word of God, and may inadvertently alter the messages intended for our spiritual edification. In conclusion, we emphasize the perfect nature of God's word and warn against the perils of attempting to conform it to our perceptions and preferences. Our interpretation of God's word must be led by divine guidance, lest we arrogate God's position and end up distorting His messages. Tune in and make sure you're reading the 'right' Holy Scripture!

A Personal Journey
Monday Mar 11, 2024
Monday Mar 11, 2024
Hi everyone, in this podcast episode, I share an intimate retrospection of my personal obstacles that I have faced in recent times. Struggling with self-doubt and emotional instability, I elected to speak candidly about my battles, mainly to highlight that nobody is alone in their struggles. Each of us faces different hardships, and it's important to recognise that we're all imperfect.Seeking solace in faith, I discuss how imperfections don't preclude us from forming a connection with God, utilising Paul as an example. While I acknowledge my mistakes, I express sincere remorse for pushing my emotional burden onto my wife, blowing the whistle on this inappropriate behaviour.Throughout our trials, the primary objective is to extract lessons from each and transform them into a catalyst for personal growth. While recounting my struggles with feelings of worthlessness, I relay how my faith and my supportive wife have been integral in my journey towards healing. In this no-holds-barred discussion, I also touch on aspects of my struggle with PTSD and the occasionally narcissistic tendencies I am actively working to rectify. Despite the difficulty of making myself vulnerable and seeking help, I stress upon the importance of expressing oneself. Furthermore, I reflect on a recent incident on my birthday, where I was not as appreciative as I should have been, emphasizing once more how we are all fallible and should strive to own up to our mistakes.I conclude by seeking your prayers, a potent testament of communal support that can help navigate one's journey. Join me as I bare my soul in this heartfelt monologue, persuading others to consider their actions, hold themselves accountable, and embrace vulnerability to push past obstacles.Stay tuned till the end for a sneak peek of our next topics: Galatians and tattoos and piercing. Let's plunge into Galatians 2:2
Wednesday Mar 06, 2024
Wednesday Mar 06, 2024
In this episode, we immerse ourselves in the profound wisdom of Galatians 2:2-3 and Acts 15:23-24. Our journey begins with the Apostle Paul's interaction with the officials of the early Church as recorded in Galatians 2:2-3. Here, Paul, guided by a divine revelation shared the gospel he preached among the Gentiles. We also delve into the implications of Titus, a Greek, not being forced to adhere to the Jewish tradition of circumcision. This does not, as we clarify, prevent him from salvation. We further explore Acts 15:23-24 which touches on the Apostles' communication to the Gentile believers in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia. The text opposes the teaching that Gentiles must be circumcised and observe Jewish laws for salvation. This, we stress, is essential to our understanding that as Gentiles, we are not bound by Jewish customs and laws. The episode culminates in the affirmation that the Gentiles have their own gospel, the gospel of grace. We highlight the canonical Christian belief that salvation is attained merely by believing in the event of Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, and putting absolute trust in this event. Be sure to join us again on Sunday when we continue to dive into these pivotal concepts.

The Significance of Bible Versions
Tuesday Mar 05, 2024
Tuesday Mar 05, 2024
In this discussion, we will provide a snippet of our study for next Sunday dedicated to Galatians Chapter 2. We'll primarily focus on Galatians 2:7, examining different Bible versions and their implications. We aim to clarify misconceptions about the gospels preached by Peter and Paul, and how versions can potentially impact our understanding of the content.
Our main tool will be blueletterbible.org, which allows for a comparison across varied versions of the Bible. We'll delve into the King James Version (KJV), recognized as the pure, preserved word of God, along with other versions created over time. Our goal is to highlight contrasting interpretations brought about by minor yet impactful changes in wording—specifically, Galatians 2:7.
Galatians 2:7 states, "But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter" (KJV). In comparison, the NIV and NASB versions subtly alter the text, which can lead readers to believe that Paul and Peter were preaching the same Gospel to different audiences. However, the KJV clearly identifies two distinct gospels—of the circumcision and the uncircumcision.
It's these small textual discrepancies—like "of" and "to"—that can cause confusing interpretations among readers. Both versions suggest different messages, with one insinuating the existence of separate gospels and the other implying that it's the same gospel targeted at different audiences. It's discrepancies like these that confirm why the KJV, devoid of contradictions, remains the pure, unaltered Word of God.
Join us in this enlightening journey as we dissect and understand the significance of Bible versions and their role in shaping our understanding of the sacred text.

Discover rich interpretations grounded in scripture, as we traverse Paul's powerful trajectory, a testament to the boundless mercy and love of God.
The episode unveils the profound change that incurred when Jesus Himself chose Paul to become a harbinger of faith. This transformation from active naysayer to faith advocate illustrates the incredible grace and forgiveness encompassed in God's love. The narrative shares how humbling it must be to realize past convictions' fallacies and be corrected by Christ.
Engage in a deep exploration of the 'heathen' perspective in biblical text as Leviticus, Ezra, and other books of the Bible are dissected. Observe the realization of how salvation was inaccessible to the heathens outside the purview of Jewish law, enriching an understanding of humanity's journey from law to faith in salvation's context.
Delve into the transformation from Jewish law to faith in Christ as the basis of salvation; observe the shift of perspective from Peter's gospel to the grace-filled gospel of Paul. This in-depth study reveals the profound shift in the biblical narrative triggered by the advent of grace - a shift that emphasized faith in Christ over strict adherence to Jewish laws.

Our Story
Whitney and I were introduced to Dispensationalism through Whitney's father and his wife. We have really dug into this and it has made us believe so much stronger. Neither of us have dug into the Bible quite as much as what we do now. After learning what we have, the Bible is so much easier to understand! Check out our videos on Facebook and YouTube!
